In charge of Developing, Designing, maintaining, and testing Java applications that make database access and document management easier for employees. Used J2EE technology, and tools such as Xerces, Tomcat, and Xalan for Java. Programs developed included: Developed and tested Servlets and JSP applications using Tomcat as a test environment. Later deployed them on to a Bea Weblogic Application server using Microsoft Access and Oracle databases as the back end in a Windows NT environment. Designed, developed, and deployed a server side Catalog application in order to view Company products, take orders, and perform various transactions on a web browser. Using EJB, JSP, Servlets, and JSP tag libraries. Helped increase maintainability and scalability of company records by developing patient, supply, and customer databases using SQL, and implementing server side tools such as Servlets that generate medical supply forms, delivery forms, and doctor forms Developed custom JSP Tag Libraries, EJB’s, Java Beans, Servlets, and used JDBC to implement server-side tools such as an interface to view patient accounts, retail customer accounts, and monthly and annual inventories on web browsers and inside applets. Also developed various utilities to produce error pages and handle database connection pooling. Developed Utility Application that implements the United States Postal Service XML API’s to request and receive responses for tracking packages, obtaining Domestic and International Package Rates, Mail standards, Shipping Labels and Express Mail commitments.
