Problem: I am inserting records to SQL table as per demand using VB6.0 script. Sometimes the data is not inserting to SQL table due to multiple reasons. The problem is observed rare when data traffic loaded. Requirement: We don't want to miss any record due to script errors. Each and every record is important. Probable Solution: Plan is to insert the SQL table as well as Text file using my VB Script. Writing to text file has very less lines of code compare to inserting to SQL. So I belive, writing the text file VBScript is very simple and it will not generate any script error. Writing to text file will be consider as backup plan.
