API Development

We need to have an integration between our POS/Inventory System - HIKEUP and our freight carrier TFMXPRESS (Australia) so that when sales have been fulfilled in HIKEUP we can create shipping labels and tracking for our customers. Firstly I'd like to seek advice about what is possible and then secondly depending on the options we'd like a developer to build the API between the two systems or a flow that bridges these two systems together.
