I have been developing responsive winning proposals for multi-lateral funding agencies, Government and private organizations for the last 11 years. My winning number for the last year was USD 10 M by working on 40 proposals with a high win ratio. I am proficient at MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Project, and MS Visio. My English language skills have been identified at level A1 by British Council.
Since I have a passion for overall programme designing and bidding, I continually refresh the approach and methodologies I follow based on hands-on experience and best practices worldwide. I consider the prospect’s/ client’s requirements and the evaluation criteria as the overall theme. The bidding process revolves around the client including reviewing the prospect’s needs, mapping our services to their focus areas, brainstorming to package offerings in accordance with clients’ needs, identifying the need for associating with any firm/ individual to strengthen the case, preparing Teaming and Non-Disclosure Agreements with partner/s, extensive meetings and presentations to discuss and highlight, developing proposals, undertaking negotiations and project initiation, and project planning.
The most important factors that I consider while developing a proposal are Content and Presentation. Since the RFP is for promoting tourism, lot of visual content will have to be included to demonstrate how we will focus on promoting tourism to Texas.
