This project is to create a simple C#.NET application that allows a customer to choose search criteria (a variable and a value) and then searches FoxPro (.dbf) tables to find a match. When a match is found, it displays several fields (7) from the database on the screen.
For example, the user chooses to search by Order #, enters an Order #, and hits a Search button. The application finds a record and displays some information: Ship Date, Carrier, Tracking #, etc.
There may be no matching records, just 1 match or multiple matches for any given search. There will be a Next button, in case the user needs to continue searching after the first match.
The data is contained in multiple FoxPro tables with identical structure. So, it will be a bit more complicated than executing a single query and cycling through a single recordset. Instead, there will need to be a loop which opens and closes multiple tables until it finds a match. (There's one table for each business day.) See the attached specifications for more detail.
I have worked with FoxPro databases before so I can create such C# app in couple of days. It will allow to select search criteria and search value just like you want.

I have experience of creating generic search method which will query from document db and will show you results.
In your case the Foxpro db if supports lambda expression then it will be nice as we then don't have to write unnecessary loops and checking.
