Tweaking the formula for a sneaker traction spray

Problem: there's often a traction problem when playing indoor basketball, especially if the soles of your basketball sneakers are a bit worn and/or the court is a bit dusty. I'm looking to develop a spray that can help with this problem. They key is for the spray to improve traction a bit without attracting/picking up lots of dust. I've experimented with nearly every kind of existing spray and the most promising one is a tire softener. The issue is that it doesn't dry fast enough and it still picks up some dust (though it's better than everything else in that regard). What I'm looking for: a chemist/material scientist to help me tweak the tire softener formula to make it dry faster and to make it less susceptible to picking up dust.
