Hello, I have checked the file and with formulas in the spreadsheet, it is quite clear for me what needs to be done. I will easily handle large amounts of data, as I specialize in optimizing macro performance. I'm not sure only whether the data structure will be as in this sample example within 1 worksheet or it will be a separate data file and separate macro file. Is operating system Windows? Hi - I am a excel whiz and too good in macros too. For the problem statement you have given we need to br able to consume data, transform and then report. We would need a combination of power query, formulad and macros to get this achieved. I just completed something similar but bit more feature rich to another customer of mine. Hi Paul, Hope you are doing great. The task you have requested can be achieved by coding a macro, which sorts the data by GUID, and a secondary sort by date. The objective of getting individual GUID's with total number of changes and last change value can be achieved by combing through each GUID, and tracking those changes. It will not matter if the user enters enters data in a sequential manner, as the macro would sort it anyways. What is more important, is that there has to be a user form (its a small excel based pop-up box) which will enable the users to put in the data in the right column i.e, users don't see the database. They just enter the data on the front end, and excel ensures all data is put in the right column, to avoid any mismatch (e.g price change put in column for miles etc) I can create this tool for you within a days time, and I am sure you will be very pleased with the results.
