As per the protesters, they feel that this project may impact the coast line fishing and result degradation of coastal environment. There are many local reports found on this issue and as a university student I've done many projects based on journal articles and newspapers. I am near Negombo, hence I can collect some additional details about the issue and if possible I can interview the mentor of this protest, as per recent article the protesters are gathering some more communities to join them with the protest.
