Yes I can do it but I need to know exactly what you're after. Is there a particular formula to be used to generate the probability or come up with our own? What sort of formula do you need? Can I use say 3 columns to calculate parameter 1, parameter 2, score, for each string in the two columns and then find the best match, or does it need to be a custom function in VBA?

I have done the work. For the sample of entry string the column A have 37% match, the best match in the column is in the row 29 (with 81%); in the column B have 52%, the best match in the column is in the row 4 (with 87%). The task have been done by formulas and a coded function, the coded function display the rows that best match in each column.
