Hi, I as an administrator pulling out and manipulating reports is what I do on a weekly basis. I also completed a similar project on this website recently in which I had to manipulate some pretty large files using powershell (over 1 million entries). I would think this will be done by the end of the day.

Hi. I have previously worked on extracting data from an *.xslx file. Will need to check first if the same ideas can be applied to *.xls Anyway, does the source file have its data in a named table or not? also will the source file always have the same formatting, names of sheets and number of sheets? This should give an idea of how customized the solution needs to be. of course the PC that will run the script will also need to have Excel already installed. Hope to hear from you.
