Creative Lingerie / Technical Contour Designer Required for exciting project We require a highly experienced creative, lingerie / technical contour designer experienced in developing luxury, high end contour lingerie for independent luxury brands and major retailers in order to assist with launching a new, exciting lingerie brand. You will need to have a thorough understanding of the lingerie / contour market experience from research to production within this field is key, as you will be expected to research and analyses the lingerie market in order to interpret key industry trends, shapes, prints, materials, and styles within the mid – luxury high end market which is forward thinking and on trend. You must be experienced with the entire process including initial research, analysing key trends, concept & design development, producing tech packs through to production. Your main role is helping to create an exciting forward thinking, unique, luxury high end lingerie brand from concept to production You will be working closely and assisting a creative, entrepreneur, who will give artist & creative direction. Including mood boards, ideas of styles to be considered in designs in order for you to interpret this into working designs and to come up with a coherent collection. Brief Under the direction of the CEO produce (10 - 20) lingerie designs sets for our independent luxury brands that appeals to the high end, luxury market for woman 20 -50 years, who are rich, sexy and sophisticated, edgy but feminine, the main emphasis is on excellent design Aesthetic’s, craftsmanship, and uniqueness, that doesn’t compromise sex appeal, in fact it oozes it. - Must be able to assist with the following: You will need to analyse the market (including shapes, market competition and trade shows for materials, colours, etc.) in order to advise on key industry trends and innovation within the lingerie sector to produce a current, on trend collection for 20 / 21. Although initial Mood Boards, and style ideas will be provided, you will need the creative vision and the technical ability (filling in the gaps were necessary) in order to formulate the information provided, into a current, unique, sexy collection, that has been thoroughly researched, is current, on trend within the luxury market sector. - Development of technical flats, design sheets and storyboards for all collection pieces. - Research inspiration and create cohesive lingerie design concepts through to development - Provide CAD presentation to present the lingerie ranges and idea’s. - Creating technical specs for production. - Advising with product development and production including lab dipping, fabric testing and fitting process. - Assisting with sourcing fabrics/component & materials (specialist knowledge of laces and embroideries) a must. - A creative and diverse eye for print design, style and experience in Accessories & Lingerie. - Experienced with embroidery design, print & surface design. - Assisting with products to supply chain (if possible) We are really keen to discuss our ideas /requirements with you to see if you can assist with the product development of our lingerie range.
