I am looking for 2 websites to be built that look exactly the same. IDENTICAL!!!
One is a travel blog, and the other will be a travel blog with a job board component. I already own both domains, The look and functionality I already have built using Joomla on one of the sites. If you could iron out the bugs and make it work in Joomla---GREAT!!!! If you can transfer the look and functionality to a wordpress foundation ----Great!!
If you can build it from scratch so that I dont have to worry about modules or components going out of date and becoming security risks in the future ----EVEN BETTER.
The websites are
aowanders (this is the look, feel & functionality that I am looking for in both websites) Now if I can get this front page layout to combine with a front page layout similar to this site nomadicmatt that would be perfect.
The other site is myadventurejobs ( i want it to look exactly like aowanders the only difference there would be is this site would have a job board that would have a complete jobskeeker dashboard & employer dashboard) Both dashboards would be very easy to navigate. Something like:
Jobseeker dashboard:
button to upload resume
button to search jobs by keyword, region or posting date
Employer Dashboard:
Button to post job ---while posting this job employers need to have the option to pay for featured & highlighted job options
Button to buy credits to post job
Button to review resumes
Button to refer other employers to gain credit for job postiings from their referal
As you can see AOWANDERS already has a front page layout configuration complete with photos, social media widgets, page turn hyperlinked popup boxes, amazon carousel, blog post map, and banner ads. What I need done is this:
The blog map to properply function. For example you click on a continent now and it shows a map of the whole world versus just that continent. ALso when you click on a pin on that map it opens the blog post wiithin that pop up window. I want that blog post to open up within the main window of the site not a pop up window over my website. Most importantly I want to clean up the way the blog posts are presented.

mine has tacky headings, social media buttons, font size options, subscribe to entry options. All of that I actually do want just want it displayed more tactifully then it currently is.
I need the blog pin map to be configured so it actually works.
Need the destination guide tab to be revamped
I need the background picture to be interchangeable
I need the page peel corner to display something else
I have attached screen shots and directions for what I am looking for.
You want to make Aowanders and Myadventurejobs with same look and feel. You want both the sites to look like www.nomadicmatt.com.
You have been developing Aowanders in Joomla and Myadventurejobs in wordpress.
Aowanders will only contain Blogs.
Myadventurejobs will contain Blogs + Jobboard.
Both the websites require a professional looks. So redesigning the look and feel is one task.
The main functional requirements for the home page is the Continent Selection section.
This is a block/module that will appear on both the websites. Clicking on a continent only the the Google Map should show the continent not the whole world.
On the map the location marker need to be displayed - for the blog of places you want Orange colour marker and for the places of jobs you want it to make green.
There are many other pages and we also need both the blogs and the jobs to be organized under categories.
The Job Board is completely new features we will develop for you. This will have the features of Posting Jobs by the Employer, Applying for the Jobs by the Job Seeker, Submit Resume, Employer can review resume, and contact the Job Seeker.
You also want a referral system in your Job Board.
The major decision you have to take , if you want to rebuild your website. Re-building will involve data and user migration.
If you want to rebuild your website we will suggest you to develop it on Drupal CMS platform.
