Problem Statement The population of the online and in home gaming world invest long hours in their entertainment. In return for their time, the player earns experience towards IN-GAME content. The current system of earning this in-game content has been historically the chief motivation for investing time and money into a given game. The opportunities that a player has to play towards earning more content represent a game’s replay value. Once this value is spent, the value of a game to a player drops. Proposed Solution Our business will effectively increase the replay value of the games we offer infinitely by introducing tangible rewards to users to play for. Adhering to the prize system employed by traditional arcades, a user will essentially purchase time from our company in the form of tokens which will then record the score that is achieved by a user and will be represented by tickets. These tickets will then be used to purchase items within the business’s online store. Methodology By utilizing the mobile application, our company will have the ability to infiltrate the homes of the rapidly growing population of e-gamers. The initial download of the application will be free up until the user purchases “tokens”. These tokens are the main currency that will activate a timer within the application. Once this timer is activated, the user then plays their video game of preference with the goal of obtaining the most experience possible within this time limit. After the time expires, the score that was achieved is then translated into “tickets” within the application. These tickets are then used to purchase items from our business’s online store.
