I've been working on several Rasberry PI+ AWS IOT +Android projects. Your milestones are OK! 1) Working model will contains fritzing scheme, python code and instructions. 2) On AWS IoT server will be createtd things like light sensor and sound sensor and you need to define some rules. To send data to AWS IoT server using nearby cell tower you will need Cellular service subscription and cellular kit for RaspberryPI. Kind regards
