Backend Sales infrastructure for mobile subscription game

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with passion to join our team of artists, developers and marketers to develop mobile games. Our startup Colto is a creative studio developing imaginative and educational mobile play experiences for kids around the world based on original and branded properties. Job overview Reporting to the CTO, the Backend Developer is responsible for the backend development, uses server-side languages and technologies to create web applications that meet client requirements. The Backend Developer also tests, debugs and improves web applications. Responsibilities and Duties • Design and develop the overall architecture of the web application • Maintain code quality and ensure responsiveness of applications • Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance • Work in close contact with other Developers, Artists and Game Designers in the team • Communicate with the company’s American partners regularly, via email or chat • Stay up-to-date with new technology trends Skills required • Experience with backend programming languages (e.g. NodeJS, Python, Ruby) • Experience in building complex web architectures using cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) • Experience with user management systems (e.g. AWS Cognito) • Experience in building APIs • Excellent English language knowledge • Problem solving and an analytical approach to work, team building, time-management, ability to achieve goals Pluses • Experience working with online payment platforms (e.g. Stripe) • Experience with subscription products and flows • Experience with AWS platform • Computer science degree • QA experience • Passion for videogames What we offer • A project-based contract (or a collaboration agreement) • Salary aligned with experience and competencies • Working with a multicultural team in our creative office • Great experience and the opportunity to grow with this ambitious company!
