Hi, I am looking for a way to capture signatures via a Java applet in a webpage. The ideal applet: 1. Should enable user to "sign" his/her name using the mouse. 2. Should prevent the form (web page) from being posted if no signature has been signed. 3. Should prevent the form from being posted if too little writing has been written. (Ex: "T" is not a valid signature.) 4. Should be able to be licensed using some sort of encrypted text file containing an expiration date/valid server to be hosted on. 5. Should include a licensing module which creates those encrypted license files. 6. Should minimize the inherent difficulty in signing with a mouse as much as possible. 7. Based on params passed to it via the hosting page or license file, the applet should save the signature as a jpeg and email that jpeg to a pre-determined email address with the order number as subject line. I'm not sure which of these are/are not possible, but I'm open to feedback and suggestions. Thank you! PS: I will include a bonus if you can include working instructions for building the code on Mac OS X. (Not a requirement, though.)
