Option to use flash or non-flash or skip intro. 1. Change title "Job Portal" to "JobSeek.com.mu" and change "on-line job search" to "Mauritius #1 Job Site" 2. Horizontal menu: "Home", "Jobseeker", "Employer", "Forum", "About us", "Contact us" 3. Column left to animation: a. Change "Enter keyword" to "Enter position" b. Remove "Enter city" c. Chnage "Select a state" to "Choose a country" d. Keep "Select a category" e. Add Count for Jobseeker, employer and number of jobs 4. Column right to animation: remove everything and put adsense 5. Instead of "Most popular job categories" put "Latest Jobs" which will feature the 10 most recent jobs 6. Remove "Featured article" and put something about jobseek 7. Keep "Are you looking for your dream job - Register here" 8. Remove "Need resume help" 9. Instead of "have a question" put "Join our forum!" 10. Remove "Featured companies" and put small banner ad for link exchange For each subsequent pages, keep the following in column form: Jobseeker -Join for FREE -Log In -My Profile -My Resume -Search Jobs -Log Out Employer -Join for FREE -Log In -Employer's Profile -Post Job -Manage Jobs -Search Candidate -Log Out Count -Jobseekers -Employers -Jobs Available 11. Template should integrate adsense code Web Crawler and Job scraper The problem with [login to view URL] at the moment is that there are 2800 jobseekers but only 10 Jobs. I would like to scrape jobs from 3 other websites : 1) Servihoo : [login to view URL];set_add_ad_cat= Those jobs will an admin employer account. It will display the job details and at the bottom it will say " Job was posted on [login to view URL] and to find more (click on the link to servihoo). 2) Getafreelancer jobs [login to view URL] : scrape jobs from certain categories Data entry,telemarketing, engineering, banner design, photography 3) International Jobs [login to view URL] Jobseekers modifications/improvements: 1) In "Join for FREE" under Jobseekers, [login to view URL] a) I want the default country to be "Mauritius". b) In Job Requirements remove the following fileds " Your career level, Target company, minimum monthly salary" 2) After a jobseeker has registered, a message comes up. I want to change it to " Thank you for registering with JobSeek. Please click on My Resume (link to create My resume/cv - [login to view URL] - note this feature, does not exist yet , see next step ) Creating your resume on JobSeek allows you to apply for jobs directly and potential employers to contact you. 3)Right now there is a step by step process to write the resume. The resume layout that is generated looks really ugly and is very non user-friendly. Users don't have the option to upload their resume on the website. But i am worried that uploading files on my server will have security issues. So instead if they can have a simple type writer screen (like fckeditor), they can cut and paste their resume from word , and can make some field bold or different colour and font. When fckeditor load , there will already be a default resume template (see [login to view URL]). 4) Once jobseekers register, right now they cannot access their personal information. So, I want a "My profile" page when they log in later where all the personal details are and jobseekers are able to edit it. They can also go Back to My Resume and able to update it. 5) Jobseekers need to have the option to be automatically notified by email when a new job is posted. When they go to "My profile", they should have a little "box" with "Email me Jobs" which they can tick to be emailed new jobs automatically or untick anytime when they don't want new jobs to be sent to them. 6) Search job option on Main page : [login to view URL] a) Remove the field " Jobs Target " b) I want the default country to be "Mauritius". c) [login to view URL] There are 3 columns : Position , Job Category , Expire in , I want a new column added "posted on " - this will display the date the job was posted d) [login to view URL] When jobseeker views a job, under the decription there if a button "Send my application". Right now when they click on it, the resume/cv they have created on JobSeek is sent to the employer directly as it is. I want this to change so that when they click on "Send my application", the link to their resume appears where they can write a customised cover letter on top of the resume each time they want to apply for a job. After they have done that, under the resume editor, their should be a button with "Email resume to employer". Only then the cover letter/resume is sent to the employer. Employers modifications/improvements: 1) When employers click on "Register here!", I want the following changes: remove "year established", "reg capital" and "no. employees". b) Default country : Mauritius 2) [login to view URL] Remove all fields except " Job Category" and change First line to only " Search our database " Remove message below search button. 3) Remove Update Plans : [login to view URL] Scrap this option , since posting jobs by employers is Free and will remain free
