the variation usually need to be configured but to be honest the description is bit unclear as I tested when the product is added to cart the discount do apply for example I added 6+ same product and it applied the discount but when I add lesser it does not apply the discount. So if we could have a chit chat over it that will clear confusion and we can resolve it quickly.
