Hello, i can modify the plugin (but once it is modified it cant be updated and unluckly you cant do child plugin as in theme) per your requests i really need to understand better the workflow; the checklist field need to be stored in the post, (do the post already have some filed where to save this data?) and next, what should the post do with this data stored (i mean how is used? for query? for frontend display? backend search?). Just for information il already closed a project with a redesigned publishing workflow (people che submit post using a special form, post are stored public, but with a reviews flag and other things) but wordpress really do not support this kind of things and the results can be unpredictable depending on all this the budget you offer can be enough or too tight please let me know thank you Lorenzo
