Modify a wordpress site to show database entries

I have a data base with about 10,000 lines, I would like to get this information to show on a wordpress site but with a few conditions... This is a serial number database, meaning each line will be data on that one serial number, users should be able to pull up the item by searching the serial number They will see the serial number, the name of the item and a photo of the item. There is other information but we'd want that hidden from public view unless the user adds a password (which would be another field or part of a field, (like the buyers first or last name, I'm open to suggestions on this) The user once logged in should be able to "suggest an edit" (add or change information) this would need to notify the admin there is a change suggested (like a ownership name change) and nothing would change unless the admin approves the change. 1) I'd like to be able to upload the database and have it fill all data, and after the first load we will add entries line by line moving forward. 2) I'd like the data to be protected to see most of the data, meaning when you search you can see only a few fields of the DB (it has less than 10 fields but some is private data that i'd like to show only if the user enters a password) I feel this shouldn't be really tough with wordpress, but I'm new to using it, so i'm not quite ready to try and do it myself. Interested in talking with someone that thinks they can get this done for us at a reasonable price.
