MySQL OpenCart Issues (Queries hanging up)

We have a website, [login to view URL] running Opencart 2.3.0.2 Multiple times a day we are getting 500 Server errors, and MySQL server has gone away; error 2006 We are on a dedicated server, and our web host tells us that the above errors are happening for the following reason: "After reviewing this further it appears that the issue is caused by slow MySQL queries generated by the database As you can see there are queries executed longer than 35 seconds while the standard execution time for a single query is under 1 second. I see that my colleagues had to restart the MySQL service due to the same issue in ticket 2524515. Please note that this is only a temporary solution and the issue needs to be addressed by a professional developer who will be able to optimize the database and apply a permanent solution. It is also recommended to try reducing the database size (currently around 3.2 GB):". These errors do not happen all of the time, but they do happen several times a day. This project would be to find and fix the queries that are "bottlenecking" and causing our SQL server to freeze up and restart. One of the ways we can recreate the error, is by exporting a high number of products, but it appears that the error creates itself at random. We are getting a lot of errors in the Opencart Admin dashboard as well, that may or may not be related. Please see the attached logs, and screenshots.
