OpenCV module to measure volume in a clear bottle

Need a module/app that will use a camera on a raspberri pi 3 to detect a bottle, then take a picture of it, and measure the difference in volume between the current picture, and one baseline picture representing a full bottle. I have done some extensive research on this and openCV seems like the best way to do this. The bottle(s) will be on a platform with all black background and I will be illuminating the bottle from the bottom to create a more noticeable meniscus. I would like a red line to be added to the photo of the calculated "meniscus" and saved to upload to a sql table. The output should be a % FULL of baseline photo. I would like this to be written in python if possible so it can be run off a Raspberri pi and upload the data to a sql database. I will want to send a data string of the picture back to the server for historical reference.
