PHP Web Developer with API Build Experience

We are looking for an experienced PHP Web Developer with experience leveraging internal and external resources to create APIs. You must be a driven individual able to work with minimal supervision since we are a remote team and be able to proactively troubleshoot the cause of bugs and implement solutions. However, just because you are remote does not mean that you are without resources. We would rather have you raise your hand sooner than later to ask for help. It will never be held against you. Responsibilities: • Design and development of APIs • Troubleshooting the cause of bugs and implementing solutions, where needed • Focus on code quality and testability • Be able to jump on assignments with same day deliverables • Continually look for ways to improve or optimize our technology Basic Requirements: • Strong ability to speak English • Excellent communication skills • Excellent time management and organizational skills Necessary Skills: • 1-2 years' experience in PHP development • At least 1 year of experience creating APIs Desired Skills: • Proficiency with web technologies such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript • Proficiency with Wordpress • Experience with UI frameworks and libraries is a plus • Experience with relational database systems like MySQL is a plus • Experience managing large datasets is a plus About Us: Our company provides several discrete and cross-platform marketing services necessary for business growth.
