DESCRIPTION: Are you an experienced internet user with a solid working knowledge of online marketing? Are you able to write clear persuasive press releases, sales letters and articles packed with flair and personality? Can you adjust your tone and style to suit the audience. We're looking for an experienced (3-5 years) freelance web content writer needed on a half- to full-time basis for an elite and discriminating Internet Marketing Company. Supervisory experience a plus. This is a very competitive contract position. English must be your primary language. Again, you must be able to consistently deliver top-quality web content writing and related services that meet high expectations. This includes: Writing and Editing: o Search engine optimized web copy for large websites, quality revision of the same as necessary. o Nimble with a diverse array of online copy and content formats: “link-bait,” press releases, SEO web page content, blogs, landing pages, and email messages. o Create adword text for ads, press releases and all content and copywriting. o Engaging “feature” style copy writing for link- and trust-building (link-bait), including ability to conduct intensive internet research, knowledge of current styles for formal and informal citation, and other industry style norms. o Check facts, pay attention to the details, ask questions when you're unsure, and use the people and resources around you to understand the topic completely. o Keyword-optimized web page title and description meta tags. o Manage blogs, articles and external writers o Manage social media (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr etc) o Manage our affiliate program promotions o Develop web demos and video content o Ability to Edit all of the above with an eye for detail We expect all eligible candidates to be able to provide a prompt selection of writing samples, a professional resume with cover letter, professional references, and be available for a phone interview.
