I've set up countless Shopify stores over the last 3 years, for e-commerce businesses I've run myself and also for other people who wish to sell online. I follow a very strict process during the set up phase of a Shopify store to ensure that no step is missed, from setting up payment gateways (so you can actually get paid for your products) to linking domain names to the store and even adding multiple products.
The process I follow is, I will link to you a questionnaire that will cover all of the questions Shopify requires i.e Store name, shipping information etc.
Once you have filled that out I will setup the back end of the store, which is essentially the control panel for you. From here is where you will add products, fulfil orders and track analytics. I also setup payment gateways for you so your customers can shop using credit card.
After the backend has been setup, I'll move onto the actual storefront (what the customer will see), I will add any pages you require, logos, photos and any other content you need your customers to see.
On completion, I will triple check through my thorough check list that everything has been completed and the store will be ready to sell!
