Need help setting default printer in a terminal server session running RDP.

Hello. I am administrator with 10 years experience. I have experience with windows server from 2000 to 2016 version and almost all windows services. I can help you with that. I'll create group policy to do make exact printer default for this user in RDP session.

The user profile is setting up the printer correctly. However the group policy is probably overriding the permissions for the user. We will have to check which groups the user is a member of then work our way backwards to see why their permissions keep changing.

Hi client from Australia, how are you? I am from New Zealand, I would be happy to work on your task. Using remote access tools such as teamviewer or bomgar I can remote onto your network environment to resolve the issue. I will go through the following steps. 1). I will log on, and check event logs first and foremost. Make sure everything is backed up, local registry. 2). I will then proceed to make changes to the policy settings, I have fixed a similar issue like this before whilst working as a network administrator for Buddle Findlay, DPMC (government agencies). 3). I will check local user settings which may be making any problems. 4). Look at antivirus, or firewall related issues. 5). I am certain that it is a setting on the terminal server, there is a policy that can be changed there. This will take me 2 hours of work. If there is no fix, there is no charge. Currently I am self employed, I have received wine, chocolates, from user's before, I have also received praise and recognition from the CEO of Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet New Zealand.
