This can be done using Zeppelin’s PostgreSQL connector as it is a generic JDBC connector and will allow you to connect to any JDBC compliant database including Postgres and MySQL. I'm just trying to understand is Zeppelin instance running inside EMR because this connectivity has nothing to do with EMR or SparkContext.
