We are a company from Berlin and are developing an Android app that will serve as a front end for our SmartHome devices. For this purpose, SmartHome alarms should be brought to the foreground at all times in terms of picture and sound, thus attracting the attention of the user. For this we need help with the following use case: A message is to be sent to the device through Google Firebase (FCM). The device should first be registered with FCM using a unique user ID. This can be done through our API => 1. Tablet registers the user 2. Signal to the API to register the user at FCM with their unique user UUID and other required parameters (device ID?) If an alarm is triggered, our API triggers Signal at FCM to push a message on that user device. The message should be intercepted in the device and the "Bring app to the front" signal triggered. We use a tablet with Android 10/11, an MDM system with kiosk mode. The frontend app was transcompiled from a Vue.js application using [login to view URL] and our API is based on RubyOnRails. We assume a maximum of one day of work. The Android app is generated by IONIC/Cordova framework from a VUE JS framework. Parts of it are Java. The high-level functionality of the app is to serve as a smart home frontend with links to several websites or android applications. When we receive a smart home alarm, the frontend changes and the alarm will be display (attached as well). We need help with the following use case: when the user is NOT in our app and an alarm comes in, we want our app to appear in the foreground, no matter where the user has [login to view URL] need to develop from scratch.
