Build Kotlin SD Card Reader OTG Viewer

I currently have a completed iOS App and I'm learning android. I need to have a SD card reader built and developed for kotlin. One key is the it needs to follow the frame work I Will provide via git hub. Card Reader Functionality 1. Main Screen a. This will have a button that changes from "Not connected" to "connected" This will happen when a external SD card reader is plugged into the device. b. The reverse of the above will happen when unplugged. c. When this button is pressed it take the user to the recycler View 2. Recycler View a. Will contain a list of FileCells i. File Cells will have a image showing 1) A picture of a folder if a folder 2) Small thumbnail of actual picture if a picture 3) Small thumbnail of movie if a movie 4) Generic xls,pdf,ppt, overlay if something else. ii. File Cell will show File name iii. File cell will show File Creation Date iv. When a cell is selected 1) If cell is folder open folder in new recycler View 2) If cell is picture open picture into imageViewer 3) If Cell is movie open movie into movieViewer b. Back Button - When pressed will go up in the file structure or back to the main screen depending on where in the structure. 3. ImageViewer a. Displays the image previously selected b. Next Image Button i. When pressed takes user to the next image in the directory of the recycler view c. Previous Image Button i. When pressed takes user to the previous image in the directory of the recyler View 4. MovieViewer a. Displays the movie previously selected b. Next Image Button i. When pressed takes user to the next movie in the directory of the recycler view c. Previous Image Button i. When pressed takes user to the previous movie in the directory of the recyler View d. Pause e. Rewind 5s f. Speed 0.5, 0.75, 1, 1.5, 2 The ability to build the above is not difficult I've got several examples of this. I need this put into a specific structure as provided in the git hub.
