Write some Articles on eyesight/vision

Australian Optometry practice looking for one experienced writer willing to do some weekly blogging/ article writing. To start with we want to test your work with a selection of 10 articles. Then arrange a weekly hourly rate job to keep the articles coming. Our goal is to build up a collection of high quality, easy-to-read yet interesting articles that we can post to our website and social media pages. The reason for us seeking writers is that we feel we can offer our customers a unique service (as opposed to your ordinary, everyday optometry practice), and we want to let people know about these services through the use of articles/ blogging. What I mean by this is that we specialise in contact lens wearers and looking after people who have very specific and unique visual requirements (think pilots, those in the police force or defence force, surgeons, elite sports people and so on). We also specialise in helping children with learning difficulties to see better (in particular those with dyslexia and other learning difficulties). Having said that, the types of articles we are looking for are: - Content to do with optometry, vision, eyes, children's vision, learning difficulties, contact lenses etc. - Tone of the article should be informative yet conversational. People who read the article should feel like the article is talking to them in a very lighthearted way, yet they should feel they are still receiving useful information - Types of articles: Again, they should be conversational yet informative (always write with the customer in mind... What often helps me when writing is to think about what I would want to read about as a customer). Some examples include: '10 things you didn't know about contact lenses' 'The benefits of wearing contact lenses' 'Things you may not know about Amblyopia (Lazy Eye)' 'UV light and your eyes: things you need to know' 'Nutrition for your eyes' etc. Deliverables: - All articles must be original work and you release copywrite to us as a ghostwriter of the articles. - Articles must be in English and of high quality (Correct spelling, grammar, formatting must be used.) - Article length 200-300 words - Number of articles required - 10 - Please let us know your proposed topics as that will allow us to choose the successful freelancer. -
