Communication Specialist

Hello, we are looking for freelancers to work with us part-time. For the position of Communication Specialist, we are presently hiring. The Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and executing strategic communications strategies to manage the public’s perception of the company and its brands. Responsibilities: 1. Develop a cohesive set of communications goals, campaigns, and initiatives to support the company’s business plan 2. Coordinate with Marketing, Sales and Product Management to ensure that communications plans support overall marketing strategies and objectives 3. Develop standard operating procedures for managing PR crises, including planning for responses, addressing urgent media inquiries, proactively monitoring social media conversations and working with the legal team 4. Ensure that all internal communications are coordinated with external PR activities 5. Create compelling copy for marketing materials (e.g., press releases, product descriptions) as well as scripts for advertisements and other materials that are intended to promote products or raise general awareness about the company or brand 6. Partner with Marketing's Creative Services team to develop imaginative copy for industry trade publications 7. Develop proactive internal communication plans to communicate new product launches internally 8. Minimum of 5 years experience.
