Injection Molding Design for Ruggedized Controller

Project Overview: We are looking for an expert designer to create the injection moldable components of a ruggedized touchscreen controller. The controller will be a critical component in our system, requiring durability, functionality, and user-friendly design. The internal circuitry of the controller has already been designed and components selected, so this project will be for only the creation of the injection moldable enclosure itself. Required Components: - Top Enclosure Piece - Bottom Enclosure Piece - Cover for Connectors - Button to Interface with the E-Stop - Waterproof Thumb Pads for Joystick Requirements: - Materials: Please provide recommendations for the material to use here. We will be using this controller outdoors for extended periods of time, so would like something that is UV resistant. - IP66 Rating: The controller will be used on construction sites so it must meet IP66 standards, ensuring dust-tight and waterproof performance. This includes incorporating seals around the screen, between top and bottom enclosure pieces, and waterproof grommets for joysticks. - The design should be user-friendly, considering ease of use and accessibility. - All components must be suitable for injection molding to ensure mass production feasibility. - Attention to detail is crucial to achieve a seamless and aesthetically pleasing design. - Additional requirements will be sent via presentation prepared for the project.
