Data Warehouse Implementation for Financial Services Company in Stellenbosch

We are a small-medium sized company in the financial services industry looking for a talented freelancer with expertise in the data and information space to drive the design, development and implementation of a central data warehouse for our business. We need a dynamic and innovative individual who can fast track solutions and is more focused on outcomes than on following cumbersome design and development practices typically associated with data projects in corporate environments. The successful applicant will have expertise in the following areas: - Designing, developing, testing, and implementing data architectures. - Preparing data for descriptive, predictive and prescriptive modeling - Automating repetitive tasks and manual processes related with the data usage - Experience with various relational database systems (e.g. MSSQL, SSRS, SSIS, etc.) - A proven track record of data modeling and schema design - A thorough understanding of database and data warehousing principles (e.g. OLAP, Data Marts, etc.) - Can write code in Python, PHP and/or other application development languages - Implementing end-to-end solutions and not just components of the solution
