Looking for Data Annotators at QuillBot (Native speaker of North American English)

Responsibilities Annotate, review, and validate annotated datasets for natural language processing/machine learning (NLP/ML) training and evaluation. Write re-worded versions of English sentences in a highly specific manner according to tone, manner of speech, complexity and many other factors. Interact with the research team to understand highly specific annotation requirements. Gain an in-depth knowledge of highly specific product features. Keep project manager informed of platform enhancement ideas, risks, and issues. Required Qualifications and Skills Native speaker of North American English (born/raised in the USA or Canada and lived there for the majority of the past 5 years). Ability to be a good team player and communicate with individuals of diverse backgrounds. Ability to work independently including managing your schedule, attending all required meetings and completing projects within a deadline. Ability to understand and apply guidelines for data annotation. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while paying constant close attention to detail and delivery accurate and precise work. Ability to work remotely in a distraction free workspace. High Speed Internet Connection. Desired Qualifications and Skills Experience as an writer and/or editor. Bachelor’s/Master's degree in writing or the humanities. Familiarity with machine learning data annotation practices. Familiarity with machine learning model training and evaluation. Prior experience with business productivity tools like GSuite and Slack.
