I would like to give it a try. I worked as an IT Analyst and had this knd of issues with our financial department frequently. However as a best practice you should send me a copy of the file not the original to ensure that anything I do to it doesn't affect the original. Wither way if you send me the original I can also save a copy. I might also need details on what the Excel contains especially the parts related to the error.
