Task Outline Create a Icon Design Task Description We need a graphic design in the format of an icon for a strategic initiative (i.e.,project) at the Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP). BEP is a U.S. Government agency responsible for producing U.S. currency(i.e., bank notes). Currently, BEP has eight strategic initiatives that we are doing to help the organization make the necessary changes to become more productive. The overarching theme that covers all of the eight initiatives is: "Making changes to make our product (i.e.,money) even better." For this project, The icon to be designed will be used in internal communications (posters, video, brochures, presentations, etc.) to our employees to raise their awareness about the strategic initiative and enlist their support in successfully completing it. For this project, we want you to create an icon for our strategic initiative entitled "Human Capital Improvement Plan". The purpose of this strategic initiative is to develop and implement a plan to build a highly effective, performance-based organization by recruiting, acquiring, motivating, training, and rewarding a high-performing, top quality workforce. We are looking for a simple, yet elegantly designed icon that will visually help our employees understand the purpose of the Human Capital Improvement Plan initiatlve. Ideally, we want our employees to understand the purpose of the strategic initiative just from viewing the icon along with the strategic initiative's title/name. The icon to be designed will be used in internal communications (posters, video, brochures, presentations, etc.) to our employees to raise their awareness about the strategic initiative and enlist their support in successfully completing it. We need the final product to be delivered electronically as a AI (Adobe Illustrator) or PSD Photoshop format. Deadline Monday, August 20, 2014
