Design a Wordpress Mockup

We have a requirement to create a long weekend calendar blog post/landing page for promoting opportunities to go diving at our resort on long weekends in the Philippines. We would like this landing page to be designed in a way that can also act as a style guide and template for future content uploads to our blog. I need to create a HTML that will be posted in our Blog for long weekends in the Philippines. This is a general example of what we are looking for: [login to view URL] However I find the design on this page a little uninspiring, and it is hard to tell which are the long weekends but structure wise it is ok.
