I like this kind of Projects like yours. I think all Control should be rendered and handled in SVG object model. I can provide a Javascript file that you have to include on your site. Additionaly you have to create <div> container in your html, where my javascript file will render this Control. This way you can easily embed this Control within other content. this could be done using svg. i have used snap svg and can build build an api for you multi-range-bar type of functionality you have requested.
