If I'm understanding you correctly, you want the function of the original site, except you want them to be able to click anywhere on the image instead of just on the bottom 50px of the image. Is this correct? If so, this can be done with a very simple one line css change. You can then remove the Quick View text from each item and the image will darken when hovered over and open the slider when clicked. I would be very happy to discuss this with you if you so desire. I understand that click area for bringing up the information is limited to the quick view button on the images. I can make the click work for whole image as well!
