Amend Google Map API to include search by UK postcode

Hey I am a web developer from Brighton, and am familiar with the google maps API / JQuery / JavaScript / HTML etc. I could do this for you quickly. Could you define a bit more how you would like the sort box to work? I.E if they put a partial postcode in, you would want it to only display the ones in that general area?
