Legal Letter - Wrongful Termination

I was terminated for 'over communicating' with a corporate marketing design team. All work was done on time and satisfactorily. There was no documentation, no records of any HR or counseling sessions related to the behavior in question. I feel that the true reason for my separation is age discrimination as the team members were much younger and work in a style different that I do. I am a baby-boomer versus the millennials on that team. The team was put in a situation that does not fit them well as they were asked to do a job that they might not enjoy and one that didn't necessarily align with their passions and goals. While perhaps excited about this work opportunity, they quickly lost interest due to work that did not directly provide for growth. Immediate gratification or a desire to serve a greater purpose was not something available doing this ST Fastening work, and created a friction between me as the manager (of the project) and them. As a boomer, I value face-to-face communication and I had set up regular meetings as well as provided daily updates on the project(s). It appeared that the team (being millennials), didn’t appreciate constant feedback or perhaps felt that I was an overbearing manager, due to my work style. Furthermore, my manager (Greg Mann) has a history of not being able to work with marketing managers, having fired a marketing agency just prior to my being hired. The agency Henderson (Steve Henderson) indicated that ST Fastening owed them for work and when an impasse was reached, that agency shut down the ST Fasrtening Systems website. [login to view URL] further demonstrating that this is not an isolated incident. I would like to name the Hillman Group, Greg Mann, Lauren Edwards and Tracey Cooper in this lawsuit. I am seeking compensation for 3 years salary to make up my lost revenue opportunity as well as additional money for the pain and suffering caused by this separation.
