headwind
Hi there,
I have created a sample headwind installation on a private server of mine, accessible at https://headwind.srvr.run. I can share the login credentials with you for demo testing.
With that out of the way, I would love to present my skills and expertise as a Linux System Admin to help with the installation and setup of Headwind MDM portal on your Linux server and make sure it is working with your devices as expected.
- I understand that Headwind is a mobile device management that allows organizations to remotely manage devices issued to employees and contractors.
- The steps I will take are: Setup a Basic Ubuntu 22.04 Linux Instance, Setup a Firewall and only Allow Headwind required ports to access/and be access over the network, install Tomact (Server), PostgreSQL (Database), Cert-Tools (SSL), and other dependencies, pull the Headwind binaries from their FOSS releases, install the headwind release, configure the DNS settings, and secure the server with SSL/HTTPs.
- The project will be completed in under 6 hours.
- I have not encountered any challenges in the installation I created for demo purposes, but if anything arises, I will refer to Headwinds documentation.
- I will provide you a detailed documentation on how you can keep Headwind updated.
- For the URL hard-coding, I have looked into the headwind app's source code, and it shouldn't be an issue either.
Let's connect, discuss the details, and get this project completed!
Thank you,
Ahmad S.
