Middle Weight Web Designer / Web Developer

W1 advertising / design agency are seeking a medium weight web designer/developer with good communication skills (fluent written and spoken English) to work from our Soho offices in London. The role will require a level of creativity, initiative and the ability to apply innovative approaches to the tasks set, both in the design and coding of website projects. The successful applicant will be expected to bring experience in completing projects within the deadline set, to be able to multi-task across a number of projects and be able to deliver under pressure, to be able to develop innovative sites, whilst managing more established sites as well. They will also be confident and personable and be able to liaise directly with clients, suppliers and the rest of the team. All applicants MUST have advanced practical ability and be able to demonstrate experience with building fully optimised sites and managing existing site development, that include the following required coding and software experience: jQuery Can manage and develop CMS with Umbraco, Wordpress, Symfony framework and Joomla PHP Asp Html DHtml Dreamweaver CSS Sprites Javascript MySQL Flash Actionscript Ability to develop in Flex E-commerce / shopping cart knowledge Accessibility and compliance C++ Cross browser optimisation (sometimes IE6) SEO PPC management We will only consider those fluent in both written and spoken English.
