Android APP to demonstrate how to send picture immediately via MMS (no user interaction)

When opened, a screen should allow the user to enter a phone number, a short message, and then allow an image to be selected from the sdcard. Then, when a button is clicked it should IMMEDIATELY send that picture without any further user interaction to the phone number indicated. This is a difficult programming problem because it should NOT be done by simply using Intents. Using Intents, Android's MMS APP is brought up requiring an extra SEND button to be pressed. Rather, the solution we are looking for should demonstrate how to set up the http post request correctly for the MMSC server to send the picture and short text. I need this to work on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. On the Samsung, getting the APN information may be problematic. If that is the case this is OKAY. For that phone, entering that information "by hand" may be required. However, how to properly set up everything else is what I am looking for.
