You will need to research and find a choral piece from each of the three musical eras. Baroque Period Classical Period Romantic Period For Each piece answer the following questions. 1. The Name of the composition and the composer 2. When was the composition written and what are the dates of the particular musical period or era 3. What purpose did this particular piece of music serve and when and where was it first performed. 4. How old is this piece of music to date and can you think of a modern equivalent and if not why. Give your reasoning. 5. Describe in your own words the qualities of this music. Textures, impressions and any thoughts after listening.
