Hi, there is no way that you have a full seamless roaming with legacy Wi-Fi technology. For that you need a wireless LAN controller or a WDS deployed, besides that Wi-Fi clients needs additional configuration in its wireless adapter to look for a better signal before it loses the current one (not all wireless adapters have this feature) Considering your current devices, you just have to match the wireless settings from the main Wifi Router, in case that it can perform as a "repeater"... not all Wi-Fi routers can "act" as "repeaters", perhaps is better that you consider to you wire it and convert in an simple Access Point without routing capabilities. If you cannot wire the old wi-fi router, try just to duplicate the wireless settings, try to choose a "repeater" working mode if it has it, and provide it with an IP address in the range of the main new Wi-Fi router and out of the dhcp scope (Better to have a static IP) Let me know the router brand and model and perhaps I would provide your further details regards pd: I am Cisco CCNP Wireless WiDesign and WiDeploy certified.
