Create forms from Word to PDF (Adobe Acrobat)

I have about 40 pages of forms in MS Word. I need them converted into pdf (adobe acrobat). I don't want clients users to be able to change the forms, or edit them. Just to fill out fields and print out. I need to be able to customize the form by editing the background watermark, the business name, and some other information of my client. This way I can market these forms customized to my client, but my client can not alter these forms just fill them out and use them only in the scope of his business. I believe some macro and script language is necessary to accomplish this.
