Small project. My guess is that we would modify our [login to view URL] script which is currently checking incomming emails to make sure they do not exist on rbl lists. If they do, they are being denied.
I would like to make it so that if an incomming receipient email is addressed to a specific domain name (I will provide a list of domains which we host which will count), then the system will ensure that the incomming email has a either: [login to view URL] in the email headers or a specific IP address. This insures that for those domains that we run postini as a spam service, that no spammers circumvent postini and send their emails directly to our mailserver thereby ignoring the public mx listed in the zone file for that domain. We want to block any emails comming in for specific domains which do not originate from the server itself or come through a postini IP or have a postini name in the headers.
Attached is our current [login to view URL] script.
Please also verify whether this will create much load. We want this implemented in the easiest way possible for load purposes.
