Full CMS setup quote

I need: 1) A recommendation of some CMS (Apache/php/mySQL) based on my needs below. I need this recommendation to be placed in your bid, with examples, and any other info you can give me. 2) Your Bid will be for: Install, set up the chosen CMS, and integrate visual templates that I will create and provide. Project: I am providing a client with a quote, and I believe that they need a complete CMS system. Apache/php/mySQL. If they accept my quote, then I will have the coder perform the CMS set-up and installation as defined in need #2 above. I don't need one written from scratch, usage of an open-source solution will suffice, but it *must be simple and east to administer.* *Important:* I have been looking around at the various programs like PHPNuke, Mambo, phpwcms, PhpWebSite and others, and have concluded that some of them are *too complex,* bloated, and "full featured" for the website that I need to build. Think of your mother and her friends, then think of a CMS that would allow those nice ladies to operate their own website :) If you can do that, you're on the right track. Website details: This will be a school website. Some pages will need to be editable by the school staff. These people will need to be able to make sense of the amin tool. This means that solutions like Mambo, which are extremely confusing, are not going to work. I need something that is simple enough to be able to hand it off to the teachers and staff when it is completed, and not have to do much training. Multiple editors: Each teacher will have their own page, a place where they can post assignments for students. Teachers may need to be able to upload photos onto pages. If so, the CMS will need to be able to do image processing. There will be a special events page. Someone will be placed in charge of manually updating this page. There will be a dynamic events calendar that shows every event, displaying month-by-month. There will need to be at least 1 email contact form. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
