This project is about a system/site that aggregates forum posts in various forums on the internet and puts them into one place. If the forum category is related to programming then the system (based on the forum URL i provide) will parse the thread links from various forums (again forums that i determine) and puts them on the site under the programming section. The idea is to have all the threads in one place so visitors dont have to visit all the various forums to just see the post. They can visit my website and see all the threads for that category in this case programming under one site. The thread link will open to the real thread as an iframe. There will be many different categories such as web design, domain names, sports betting, etc and the list goes on. I choose the categories and then I add the forum URL that the system should look at to parse those thread links into the site. This system needs to be very efficient and fast. It is pointless if it takes minutes just to retrieve the threads to list from the many different forums. I don't expect it to retrieve threads for all different types of forums. If there is only one option i would prefer vbulletin forums.
